After Your Cosmetic Fillings
Follow these steps to protect your result.
Avoid chewing on the filled tooth for at least 2 hours while the composite fully sets
Some sensitivity to hot, cold, and pressure for the first few days is completely normal
Avoid very hard foods on the filled tooth for 24 hours
If the bite feels high or uneven after 48 hours, come back in — it needs a simple adjustment
Composite fillings can stain like teeth, so limit coffee and tea in the first 48 hours
